Department Education Job Purpose
The University of Scranton’s Department of Education has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to staff courses in primary, elementary mathematics, middle, secondary, and special education. Adjunct faculty may instruct one or more courses or labs as needed.
Essential Duties
Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades.
Requirements
Additional Skills Required Minimum Education Requirements
Master’s degree in Education or related majors is required.
Preferred Education
ABD or PhD in Education or related majors is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Job Experience Requirements Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling is preferred.
