What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2022-2023 Non-Tenure Track Faculty Pool-UTNY position at University of Texas at Austin?
The Department of Communication Studies periodically hires temporary non-tenure-track faculty to teach undergraduate courses in this specialization (University of Texas Semester in New York Program). This faculty member will teach CMS 327: Urban Communication. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Semester by semester decisions will typically be made by December 1 for each Spring semester and by July 1 for each Fall semester. Please note these classes take place in New York, New York.

Candidates should hold a degree in a field that is relevant to their ability to teach the course. Candidates who have professional communications experience in New York, and demonstrated teaching experience at the college level, are preferred.
