The Department of General Internal Medicine is currently providing clinical services to the community of
NW Ohio and SE Michigan for all areas or specialties of general disorders. An important aspect of the
mission of the University of Toledo College of Mission and Life Sciences is educating students, residents
and fellows as well as developing research programs related to general disorders.
This is an academic position, which requires a combination of teaching, patient care,
research/scholarship, as well as administrative activities, that are necessary for the function of the
Department of General Internal Medicine.
The faculty member must be an MD/DO who has successfully completed a residency in general internal
medicine as well as a fellowship (if applicable). The candidate must be Board Certified or become Board
Certified within 3 years of recruitment. He/she must meet all the institutional requirements for
appointment to Assistant Professor.
This position works in a professional clinical and academic office setting.
