Responsibilities
The Clinical Abstraction Manager is responsible for the abstraction of clinical data from a patient’s medical record and input into an electronic database for summary analysis and public reporting. Attention to detail, accuracy in abstracting clinical information, and proficiency in the required data abstraction tools will be necessary for success in this role. Responsible for database administration, data consolidation, data analysis and management reporting. Utilizes software to generate metrics and develops actionable recommendations. Provides support to research teams or management by collecting and analyzing data and reporting results. Collaborates with various function teams to complete the aims of the research

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree in area of specialty or equivalency and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
