We are looking for an exceptional Medical Dosimetrist to join our Medical Physics/Dosimetry team. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Please note: On-site is preferred. Hybrid options may be available.
The Medical Dosimetrist is a member of the Radiation Oncology team, who brings expertise and knowledge necessary to generate conventional and 3-D dose distributions and perform dose calculations in accordance with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.
The Dosimetrist demonstrates knowledge of the characteristics and clinical implications of radiation therapy machines and equipment. This position also demonstrates knowledge in brachytherapy including HDR, LDR and Prostate Seed Implants.
The Dosimetrist assists the physicist with Stereotactic Radiosurgery and QA procedures.
EDUCATION:
Requires a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy or related Sciences. CMD certification is required upon eligibility.
EXPERIENCE:
2 years of dosimetry experience preferred.

SIGN ON BONUS & RELOCATION ELIGIBILITY:
External candidates are eligible for a sign on bonus which ranges from $3,000-5,000 based on years of experience. Current employees of the UVM Medical Health Network are not eligible for this bonus. Additional terms and conditions apply.
We also have relocation assistance available as well as temporary employee housing. Eligible candidates who live more than 50 miles from UVM Medical Center would receive $9,200 in relocation assistance.
