Pre-Heart Transplant Nurse Coordinators are specialized nurses who collaborate with interdisciplinary teams consisting of heart failure / cardiac transplant / mechanical circulatory support trained Cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, other sub-specialty nurses, advanced practice providers, social workers, and administrative staff to coordinate, support, and optimize the medical care of this complex patient population. The pre-heart transplant nurse coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the cardiac transplant evaluation process, listing patients on the national waitlist and providing ongoing, active waitlist patient management in collaboration with the provider team.
SCHEDULE
100% day shift.
REQUIREMENTS
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac-related nursing experience
• Washington State RN license required by start date
