The Office of Compliance advances compliance with applicable laws and policies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We collaborate with University partners to minimize compliance risk and promote ethical conduct throughout the University. Compliance is a shared responsibility, with every member of the University understanding their responsibilities and being accountable for their actions.
This position plays a key role in this work and is part of a team of investigators reporting to the Assistant Director of Civil Rights Compliance & Title IX Coordinator. The position investigates complaints of violations of UW-Madison's civil rights policies and other conduct-related policies, including the policy on sexual harassment and sexual violence.

May 2024 law school graduates are encouraged to apply if they meet the minimum qualifications listed below.
A minimum of one year of professional experience investigating and resolving discrimination or employment complaints, with particular focus on complaints alleging sexual violence or sexual misconduct is required. Clerkships, internships, and clinical experience may be considered.
Experience in a higher education, governmental, or regulatory compliance setting strongly preferred.
Full Time: 100%
It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Salary:Minimum $78,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
