Responsibilities
  • Primary contact for technology used to support and enhance business functions in Student Accounts relating to billing and accounts receivable.
  • Services as a business systems liaison and consults with all functional user departments, IT, PSaaS, UW System Admin, and third-party software vendors (Nelnet, Workday, Campus Guard, etc.)
  • Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses.
  • Prepares functional, system, and program specifications.
  • Minimal Supervision
  • Assists senior staff in developing strategic approaches to problem-solving.
  • May work with external vendors or service providers.
  • Develop Queries and identify opportunities to streamline business practices within the PeopleSoft/Oracle database.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with PeopleSoft module or other related ERP system
  • Experience in financial services, students accounts, OR in a higher education setting
  • Experience with data collection tools
  • Expert knowledge of MS Word and Excel
