Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Athletic Trainer at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in Whitewater, WI. The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for injury prevention, athletic training, strength & conditioning, rehabilitation, and prevention activities to support the well-being of athletes. The role involves working closely with sports teams and coaching staff to ensure optimal performance and minimize the risk of injuries.
Qualifications
- Injury Prevention and Prevention skills
- Athletic Training and Rehabilitation expertise
- Strength & Conditioning knowledge
- Experience in working with sports teams and athletes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification from the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field
