Job Summary
Assists in the management and supervision of the daily operation of the Stores and Distribution Group for the University Library. This includes, but not limited to, assisting in supervising, and executing operations for receipt and delivery of materials (such as freight, mail, commodities, or supplies) shipped to/from 16 libraries across campus.Duties & Responsibilities

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Any combination totaling three (3) years (36 months) from the categories below:
A. College coursework in operations management, business management, supply chain management or a closely related field as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
B. Experience in storing/receiving freight, handling or hauling freight, route scheduling, moving and delivery services, warehouse loading, and storage operations, and/or terminal dispatching in an institutional, industrial, and/or commercial setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Valid driver's license

This is a 100% full-time Civil Service Assistant Distribution Services Supervisor position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the close of the search. Minimum starting salary is $39,858.
