Quality Assurance Technician - School of Social Work

Job Summary

Provide support to the Academic Partnerships Program and assist with various aspects of quality assurance.

Duties & Responsibilities

Quality Assurance
  • Design, Develop, and Implement QA processes that measure and track outcomes and efficacy of individual program deliverables.
  • Provide technical assistance in the development of Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, and forms;
  • Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by assisting in preparing and implementing action plans;
  • Identifying quality assurance systems and processes-related problems and recommending improvements;
  • Monitoring procedures and completing internal audits;
  • Prepares quality documentation and reports related to Programmatic deliverables and outcome data by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends;
  • Updates job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management;
  • Co-facilitate with management staff, occasional training of trainers, and/or informational meetings for professional partners and/or students.
Administrative Support and Data Entry
  • Assist with collecting and maintaining data;
  • Running evaluation data reports;
  • Receiving and processing participant applications and academic institution interests related to internships, job shadowing, and the university partnership program;
  • Monitoring and responding to communications through the program shared email accounts;
  • Facilitating and tracking academic internship and job shadow application/matching/approval process;
  • Providing logistical support related to but not limited to: scheduling meetings, confirming meetings, and ensuring that target dates for review meetings are met;
  • Scanning, copying, and filing documents; records maintenance;
  • Monitoring and finalizing University Partnership class rosters.
Recruitment
  • Assist the Associate Director and Academic Partnerships Coordinator in recruiting for Job Shadowing, Academic Internship, and University Partnership Programs inclusive of both virtual and onsite meetings with prospective students, and with university partners. This requires travel and a high level of expertise and knowledge of the programs;
  • Contacting prospective internship and job shadowing participants to provide additional programmatic information and to gain additional needed participant information;
  • Travel to and facilitation of meetings related to internship fairs, career fairs, and university onsite meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. One year of administrative support in an office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree. Minimum 2 years of administrative support, quality assurance, and data entry.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must be proficient at Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Ability to learn to navigate in the online training database and platform used by the Office of Learning and Professional Development; Process Improvement, Analyzing Information, Strategic Planning, Verbal Communication, Informing Others, Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Dealing with Complexity.

Appointment Information

This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5001 - Program Assistant position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the job posting closes. Hybrid work options may be considered for this position. Salary is commensurate with experience. The minimum of the salary range for this position is $40,000. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
