We're hiring a Loan Operations Analyst III to join our Loan Operations Team.

Responsibilities

Dedicated focus on interpreting and translating complex loan documents for commercial, mortgages, and consumer loan verification to the JH operating system, including CIF input, AFT setup, FASB 91 fee and cost records, understanding and calculating amortized interest  

Maintain a high degree of cooperation, support, and rapport with other Loan Servicing staff as well as internal and external customers to ensure accurate and efficient operations and service across all channels of our loan portfolio

Perform file maintenance necessary to record Loan Extensions and Modifications, including interest accruals and billing calculations for all loan types

Oversee the e-mail group for file maintenance requests including those specific to Asset Based Lending updates

Perform daily FASB reconciliation with a broad understanding of deferred fees/costs. 

Responsible for the monthly SBA 1502 Reporting and monitoring exception items.

Reconcile purchases of FHA Mortgages and perform monetary and core maintenance to remove from system

Process transactions for Special Asset loans, such as non-accrual, delinquent, charged-off loans including shadow accounting

Provide Synergy administrative support to Loan Operations staff and IT department.

Support workflow of input, verification and scanning of loan documents; provide training to department personnel as necessary

Assist with review of loan files from acquired banks and verify accurate scanning, uploading, and indexing of all documents

Research and analyze problems and provide resolutions in a timely manner

Initiate cases with accounting system vendor as deemed necessary to resolve identified issues.

Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct

Assist in special projects and additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

College degree and minimum of 3 years bank loan operations experience or equivalent related education and experience required

Advanced understanding of mortgage, commercial, consumer loans

Ability to read and comprehend complex loan contracts

Previous experience with onboarding Commercial and/or Consumer loans preferred

Ability to perform loan accounting computations, including interest accruals, payment amortizations, billing calculations

Familiarity with document preparation and imaging systems a plus.

Excellent organizational, analytical, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently in a fast paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment

Ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service

Ability to grow into an influential mentor, communicator, and trainer

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Flexibility to work longer hours when needed. This will be a requirement for last business day of each month and last business day of the calendar year.
