The role of Coordinator of the Tell All the Truth Project (TATP) is essential to the project’s academic success and community engagement. They will work directly with the project PI to coordinate the Advisory Board meetings, the planning and implementation of the TATP course exercises and assignments, the collaboration between classes and community members on TATP assignments, and the planning of the end-of-semester community events.The TATP Coordinator works to assure smooth delivery of the project’s course offerings and coordination of its community partnerships. The Coordinator will manage scheduling of courses as well as meetings and community events by working closely with both community partners and campus units (including the Service Learning Academy, the Community Engagement Center, the Registrar, the English Department, and the History Department). In addition, they will attend, and record minutes for, all meetings of the TATP Advisory Board.The Coordinator is professional, self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems creatively with student-centered, solution-focused thinking. Possesses strong oral and written communication, management, and organization skills. Familiarity with teaching pedagogy and community engagement is a plus. Core responsibilities include:• Coordinating with faculty and staff in the History and English Departments as well as the university Registrar on course planning and scheduling• Planning, organizing, and supporting Advisory Board meetings• Collaborating with faculty and TATP leaders on course exercises and assignment• Coordinating the collaboration between classes and community members on TATP assignments• Planning of end-of-semester community eventso The coordinator will be actively supporting TATP faculty in the choice of venue, catering, and other related issues for the end of semester celebrations.o Composing fliers, news articles, slideshows, and zines to help promote and document the project.o Maintaining the TATP social media presence• Record-keeping and processing expensesThe Coordinator is capable of successfully managing multiple priorities, projects, processes, timelines, and is comfortable making decisions to lead initiatives. Responds thoughtfully and strategically to faculty and student needs while serving as a liaison between the TATP and community partners as well as various campus units. This position reports to the PI of the TATP and works with students, faculty, staff, and community members. Additionally, the Coordinator actively contributes to project initiatives while fostering a supportive and collaborative work culture.
