Our Mission
Duties include cleaning of movable medical equipent. Transporting medical equipment throughout medical campus. Managing inventory level to maintain stocking par levels.
Performing basic equipment functional tests and scheduled preventive maintenance (training will be provided).
Promotes the safe use of clinical equipment and seeks opportunities for the efficient management of clinical equipment. Supports in the operation of continuous quality improvements.May drive UofL Health vehicle to deliver equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities
1. Effectively determines clinical equipment operation status.2. Effectively determines clinical equipment operation status.3. Clean medical equipment in-between patient use.4. Scan barcode to update medical equipment location.5. Perform Preventive Maintenance and safety testing.6. Documentation and paperwork related to medical equipment for regulatory reporting.7. Participation in the identification of value added enhancements.8. Provide assistance to other technicians.9. Promotes the safe effective use of clinical equipment.10. Maintains effective professional customer relations and communication.
Qualifications
Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):
High School diploma required
Experience (required and preferred):
Some medical equipment experience preferred.
