Your role at Up2Go
You will be responsible for supporting the CFO and Vice President Business Development by refining and achieving the commercial goals of Up2Go in the US legal entity and overall. Your work is essential for assuring the financial wellness and integrity of the legal entity. You will collaborate closely with colleagues that have primary responsibilities for commercial success, but also with people across our legal entities that contribute in other roles, such as customer engagements.
Job functions:
- Work on the monthly/year-end closings of the the US legal entities
- Manage the forecast planning
- Supervise existing commercial reports and develop new reports / analytical dashboards
- Manage the US-benefits portfolio, e.g. 401k, health insurance, etc.
- Manage local bank accounts
- Liaise professional service relationships for US operations (legal, tax, etc.)
- Support the leader of business development within sales (e.g. quotations, such as T&C preferred) and commercial topics
- Support the US colleagues within administrative/HR topics as required, e.g. on/off-boarding, purchasing, payroll, etc.
- Handling of selected financial owner issues, e.g. contracts
Who you are
You have several years (min. 2) of experience in an accounting environment. You like to learn new IT-tools also outside of accounting and are willing to extend your skills. In general, you are motivated to learn and grow and have strong communication and collaboration skills. You have a keen professional curiosity, and always are willing to challenge the status quo. Finally, it inspires you to work in a multicultural team.
Essential skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or General Business administration or relevant degree
- Very good IT-knowledge (Google Workspace, Salesforce knowledge desired, business accounting software such as Accounting Seed, Quickbooks or Xero
- A strong understanding of managing data within and between cloud-based software tools
- Must have the ability to handle the details while still keeping a ‘big-picture’ perspective
- Independent, efficient and proactive working style
- Very trustworthy with impeccable integrity
- CPA or CMA preferred
