ITU AbsorbTech is seeking a Business Analyst Intern at our corporate headquarters in New Berlin, WI. This position is primarily responsible for supporting Business Development, Service & Sales, and Marketing by conducting market research, analyzing data, and issuing standardized reports for existing and potential new accounts.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports including, but not limited to monthly location team meeting reports; Customer Quality Visitation Report (CQVR) scoreboards; sustainability reporting, rental account analysis; Business Conditions analysis; Service Agreement analysis.
- Provide backup support for myAccount sign-up processing which includes verifying customers, creating accounts, generating log-in credentials, and setting up default dashboards.
- Participate in data integrity/maintenance projects in CRM including record ownership cleanup, contact record updates, and monthly/quarterly maintenance tasks.
- Support the SLA program by entering NAICS codes, tagging accounts accordingly in the CRM database, and conducting research, as necessary.
- Assist in preparing quarterly sustainability reports.
- Assist in the development of forecasting models.
- Conduct market research including competition, sales coverage models, and market segments.
- Special projects as required.
Schedule: Part time hours during the spring and fall semesters, and up to 40 hours (per week) during the summer, if desired.
Pay: $15 an hour.
Education and Experience:
- Must be a current student enrolled in an accredited two-year technical college, or four-year college or university.
- Candidate should have an area of interest within the following disciplines: business analytics, business administration, economics, statistics, data science, or marketing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to gather and analyze data, clearly articulate ideas, and give feedback.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Organization and time management skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage projects to meet deadlines.
