Quality Assurance is much more than just validating a developer's work. Do you like to work with new and innovative technologies and implement them into the pipeline so that developers can test their own work? If yes, then you are at the right place! We're looking for a Senior SDET to join our team and build the next generation of Updater products.
Updater is one of the fastest growing tech companies based in NYC with remote employees across the US, and our goal is to streamline the moving process for the millions of households who move each year. Moving is complicated, but it shouldn’t be. That’s why our platform comprises a suite of both business and consumer-facing apps: from a consumer-facing platform to a variety of products for real estate companies to an API and an Integrations Platform.
Our teams currently use a range of languages, and we choose tools thoughtfully because they are the best choice for our products at the time. However, we’re not dogmatic, and evaluate new frameworks and our stack frequently. We expect this role to contribute to our technical ecosystem with quality assurance tools, processes and innovation.
As a Senior SDET on our team, you’ll be part of a team at Updater that will be responsible for creating and implementing the next generation of quality software platforms for the engineering organization. Using our Cypress and Mocha based automation suites, we want to drive forward with our automation road map to position our developer experience to be faster and more efficient.

- Will have worked on automation platforms across a complex technical project, such as websites, apis, mobile apps or within a large team dynamic
