Chicago Steel powered by UPG is looking to hire a Senior level Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team! This role will assist the sales team in driving sales around existing business and will assist in lead generation around new business. The Inside Sales Representative will work on creating marketing collateral, RFPs, and sales analysis. The right candidate is a sales-minded individual who is a quick learner, self-motivated, thorough researcher and possesses an eagerness to learn about sales. This position will report to the General Manager.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Enter customer purchase orders, applying finished goods to sales order.
• Create inside and outside processing work orders, including slit patters and request schedule to meet due dates.
• Understand customer pricing matrix, reasoning etc.
• Communicate with customers regarding due dates, shipments, finished goods and master coil inventory.
• Approve customer invoices.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong capability to prioritize tasks and stay organized.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment, able to 'keep cool and calm' in a rapid setting.
• Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills.
• Motivated to perform at a high level, with a proactive, can-do attitude.
