We are currently growing the product management practice for our member engagement portfolio. The Digital Product Manager I will work in a strategic role with business partners, technical teams, designers on a portfolio of innovative digital products and features.
Our Digital Product Manager I bridge cross-functional disciplines, balancing business, technical, and design constraints to bring products to market that will define the future of health care. Digital Product Manager I must feel comfortable working in dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environments. They must leverage commercial expertise and critical thinking skills to distill the complexity inherent to health care's most confounding problems. They must also thoughtfully translate problems into solutions, that can take shape as disruptive businesses and ultimately, actionable product roadmaps.
Responsibilities:
· Works closely with interdisciplinary teams and across functional departments, including engineering, design, program management, marketing, and finance teams to carry out a strategic plan for assigned product(s) or domain(s)
· Develops crisp, detailed business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
· Guides and supports the definition, design and construction of products that delight consumers and compel them to engage despite an abundance of alternatives and distractions
· Gathers requirements for and informs product strategy development and vision-setting, supported by internal and external analysis
· Informs and/or manages roadmaps that communicate prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support load
· Develops product development recommendations to leadership and cross-functional committees
· Communicates activities, statuses, issues, and accomplishments to management and partners as needed.
· Drives dialogue with engineering teams and program management from multiple products to deliver integrated services
· Works closely and collaboratively with design and product teams from partner organizations
· Proactively identifies strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
· Attend continuous education classes to increase knowledge in the health care industry as well as Agile and SAFe practices.
