Specialized DSP

Upper Valley Services (UVS) is one of Vermont’s designated non-profit agencies serving people with developmental disabilities and adults who are eligible for Adult Family Care.

UVS is seeking a kind, positive and patient Specialized DSP to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

• Community support    
  
• Working within a tight-knit support team that has built-in resources and expertise 
• Extensive training/ shadowing opportunities will be offered for all areas of the role
• Physically able to lift and carry 50lbs. 
• Commitment to the role of communication partner, requires engagement with adaptive technology  
  
• High capacity for self-regulation  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills 

Candidates will undergo a background check, must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and auto insurance.

A $1000 hiring bonus will be offered to the selected candidate. $500.00 bonus at the time of hire and another $500.00 bonus after successfully completing 6 consecutive months in the position.
