What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installer position at Upside Innovations Llc?
Upside Innovations is a growing manufacturer of aluminum ramps, steps, canopies, OSHA steps, covered walkways and custom access products. We are seeking a professional Installation Technician. We are looking for candidates with an aptitude for construction and assembly of metal products and who enjoy frequent travel within the US. We manufacture our products in West Chester, Ohio and prepare "kits" ready for shipping to our client's sites for assembly and installation. This position requires individuals who can travel frequently, are physically able to work a demanding job and be able to read technical drawings.
Essential Functions:
- Install aluminum ramps, steps, platforms and canopies
- Load, deliver, install, de-install, unload and restock
- Travel and overnight jobs
Additional Information:
If you're reliable, take initiative and have a good work ethic then we can teach you the Upside installation approach. Installers often work substantial overtime. All travel is paid time worked and travel expenses are paid by the company including meals and hotels. Installers can work in the warehouse when not on an installation project. We are looking for the following:
- Mechanically inclined
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read assembly and site layout drawings
- Lift approximately 100 lbs
- Knowledge of measuring and mathematical calculations
- Must be able to pass a drug and background screen
- Great customer services skills
- Good driving record
- High level of professionalism
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
