What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator $15.32-$17 position at UpStateMFG?
UpstateMFG is interviewing for immediate support of a reputable company's recent growth. These are contract to hire positions with eligibility for hire after 90 days. If you have machine operating/manufacturing experience within a heavy industrial environment we'd like to speak to you. There are multiple long term opportunities.
Expectations:
- Supports weld operations using equipment and materials according to Production Package.
- Sets and adjusts robotic weld equipment to ensure defect free welds.
- Regularly inspect in-process and finished parts for defective welds according to work instructions and procedures. Ensure quality standards are met to achieve zero defects.
- Place or pack finished parts into designated containers and ensure proper labeling as instructed. Ensure all labels are legible and accurate to finished part.
- Actively participates in training to increase knowledge of the equipment, technology and production capabilities of the robotic welder.
- Complete required paperwork and computer entries as required. Ensure accuracy of all entries.
- Immediately inform leader or member of management of any machine malfunction, production quality, material requirements or safety issues.
- Ensure housekeeping duties are performed as a priority to ensure a clean, safe and orderly plant environment.
- Monitor production and material supplies. Notify appropriate personnel of shortage
- Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment and machines.
- The ability to support the change over on the robot as to business needs.
- May perform other related duties or work at different workstations as production needs require.

Pay: $15.32 - $16.32 per hour
