What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Ministry Consultant position at Upward?

Job Summary: Responsible for partner retention and recruitment activities in a defined territory to maintain and compel churches to partner with Upward Sports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adopt a mindset of serving, while believing in oneself and committing to the daily discipline of building confidence.
- Identify and recruit leaders using total and independent judgement to discern who has the potential to successfully lead Upward Sports program to move them into the Upward Sports leader on-boarding process.
- Uncover needs by asking great questions and look for opportunities to help churches and church leaders realize their ministry objectives.
- Put the church partner and prospect at the center of your interaction, ensuring that conversations are relational.
- Execute plans and tactics for developing trusted-advisor relationships with leaders, exercising independent judgement to keep them engaged with Upward while achieving the shared mission/vision for sports ministry. Travel included up to 30%.
- Achieve agreed upon monthly and annual KPI's and goals within a predetermined schedule, ultimately related to moving prospects to the commitment phase of becoming and continuing partnership with Upward Sports.
Education and/or Licenses required/preferred
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 2 years Upward or Ministry leadership experience preferred
- 2 years sales and account management experience preferred
