Pest Technician

Urban Desert Pest Control is hiring a full-time, licensed Pest Control Technician. We are looking to add a friendly, detailed and honest Pest Control tech to our current team of amazing pest applicators. At least 1 year experience in pest control is preferred. We are hiring an experienced pest technician to cover our Scottsdale / Paradise valley route. We are looking for someone who can commute to this area in 30 minutes or less. Please note: our main office location is in North West Phoenix (Where the I-17 & 101 meet), but this position is for an east valley route.

The ideal Pest Technician is someone with a current, active pest applicator license ready for the opportunities that come with getting in on the ground floor of a successful pest control business. We pay on production with a built-in incentive that increases payout % as your production goes up. We want you to make more when we make more! Customer satisfaction is a key part of our business model. To emphasize the importance of this we bonus our people for quality customer service. We also pay out sales commissions for referring the following; new pest control customers, new termite work, scorpion seal work or rodent exclusion. In addition, all of our employees are eligible for Health & dental benefits, sick time, holiday pay and paid time off.

Job Requirements

• Willingness to continue to learn and improve.
• Ability to stay focused, work hard and do the job right the first time (without constant supervision.)
• Proactive in taking care of customer needs and concerns.
• Ability to do physical labor in high temperatures.
• Current AZ OPM Applicator License

• ***Must have a good driving record with a valid driver's license that is not suspended or revoked.
• Must be able to pass a background check / No Felony's

Job Description

• Completing a daily route.
• maintain equipment & supplies according to AZOPM rules and regulations
• Documentation of service
• Payment collection
• Full time, Monday through Friday, plus 1 Saturday a month (9am to 2pm)
