Who Are We?
We are a small but rapidly growing company with an office based in Manhattan, specializing in hosting both domestic and international travelers for extended stays in furnished luxury apartments. We have nearly 250 apartments all across Manhattan and even a few in Brooklyn-and we're always adding more!

As an Interior Design intern at Urban Furnished, you will assist the Design Experience teams in various aspects of furnished rental operations, such as touring units and evaluating apartment furnishings’ quality, assisting in sourcing and ordering new furnishings, coordinating with Experience to have them installed according to Design’s vision, and overseeing the inventory list for each order. You will have the opportunity to work with different departments, learn from experienced professionals, and gain valuable insights into the apartment rental industry. You’ll help to be part of the process of maintaining high-end apartments in a rapid-paced environment. We are looking to bring our company to the next level, and we want you to be a part of the excitement!
This is an UNPAID internship. We are looking for a commitment of about 15 hours a week, with days spent IN PERSON in our office located in Chelsea.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, hospitality, tourism, business, operations, or a related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Ability to reliably commute to our office in Chelsea
- Strong interest and enthusiasm for interior design
- An eye for the big picture, and the fine details
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with guests and staff from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and some familiarity with property management systems (i.e. Guesty, Micros, Synxis, Opera, etc.)
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities
- Able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
