What are the responsibilities and job description for the TEMP Warehouse Associate position at Urban Health Plan, Inc?
Position Summary:
We are currently searching for a TEMP Warehouse Associate who will fill requests for supplies submitted via email by departments and charge accordingly. The Warehouse Associate will travel on a as needed bases if needed to make deliveries.
The temp assignment will run from August-December. The Warehouse Associate should be available to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with occasional Saturdays.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- 1-2 years of direct experience.
- Computer literate, able to prioritize orders.
- Clean NYS drivers License and have completed a Defensive Drivers Course. Certificate needed.
Key Duties:
- Fill orders submitted via email by requesting departments. Properly label supplies which require special handling
- Keep track of backorder and fill them once supplies arrive. properly bill departments for all supplies distributed
- Keep shelves properly stocked, rotate supplies based on expiration date, track inventory level. list supplies needed
- Respect co-workers and supervisors, maintain a clean and hazard free work space. Monitor refrigerator and freezer temp
- Communicate, respect and work well with others. complete assignments as requested
