This Accounts Payable Clerk reports to the Financial Controller and oversees all vendor payment activities including check and credit card payments. This position also cross-trains on AR and Payroll to provide backup support to other Accounting department team members.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 years related experience; AP, AR, bookkeeping, etc.
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to quickly learn new software and/or systems
- Proven ability to interact with a wide variety of audiences
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Time management skills
- Sage Intacct.
- Non-profit accounting related experience
- knowledge of US GAAP
