**The Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Program Manager - Financial Empowerment. This opportunity is ONLY open to internal ULMS Financial Empowerment employees. **
JOB SUMMARY:
The Program Manager - Financial Empowerment is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and implementation of grant programs within the Financial Empowerment Department. This role involves coordinating multiple projects, managing resources, and ensuring that program goals and objectives are met. The Program manager works closely with the Director, stakeholders, team members, and leadership to ensure the delivery of programs. They are responsible for creating and maintaining program plans, reports, timelines, and budgets, as well as monitoring progress and evaluating outcomes. The Program manager may also be involved in identifying new program opportunities, developing partnerships, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and requirements. Overall, the program manager plays a critical role in driving the success and impact of the programs within the department and organization. The Program Manager supervises housing counselors and provides guidance and professional development. Responsible for conducting performance counseling, training, and identifying best practices. Additional duties as assigned by the Director and Vice President for Housing and Financial Empowerment.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong background in housing and community development.
- Proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong analytical, communication & organizational skills, both orally and in writing
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with the public.
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
- Demonstrates cultural competency and sensitivity to the needs of adults with multiple challenges.
