POSITION SUMMARY

The Wholesale Territory Manager owns their territory by developing relationships, growing brand recognition, ensuring operational excellence, driving customer engagement, facilitating demos and other events (as needed), delivering results and achieving financial goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates an environment where customers are treated fairly in the spirit of Urban Remedy’s core values.
  • Educates and motivates customers about Urban Remedy story, our products and company promotions.
  • Establishes and builds positive relationships with Wholesale Customers and Cross-functional Teams.
  • Communicates feedback and updates to Shelf Engine and Quality Assurance Team regarding deliveries, stock levels and product quality.
  • Manages Wholesale accounts and develops new strategies to drive efficiency and maximize profitability.
  • Communicates to Wholesale Customers on product knowledge, kiosk planograms and seasonal product launches.
  • Provides recurrent feedback and sales updates to Wholesale Customers on overall kiosk performance.
  • Utilizes PowerBI frequently to assess results and create a plan of action to continue success and/or improve opportunities.
  • Delivers results to meet/exceed sales and EBITDA plan and achieve a high level of operational excellence.
  • Supports in building and executing a Field Marketing Plan in alignment with the territories strategic plan.
  • Performs multiple kiosk visits and inventories per quarterly to ensure operational excellence.
  • Ensures kiosk merchandising and cleanliness following Company Planogram standards.
  • Ensures coolers are running properly and submits repair tickets in a timely manner. Follows up to confirm preventative maintenance visits are being performed.
  • Reports feedback and communication to Direct Report by completing Kiosk Site Visit Recaps quarterly.
  • Attends one-on-ones, peer conference calls and quarterly meetings, as scheduled.
  • Works with Direct Report and peers to develop best practices, process improvement and other additional projects to support growth.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Position-Specific Skills

  • 1- 2 years of retail or merchandising and sales experience.
  • Strong communication skills; proficient in English in both spoken and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Skype.
  • Must have a Smartphone to utilize app-based technology.
  • Must have a car to accommodate large territory store visits.
  • Truly believes Food is Healing and has a genuine passion towards the natural/organic food movement.
  • Ability to model the Urban Remedy culture in every interaction and relationship with customers.
  • An innovative mind that thrives in an environment of change and creativity.
  • Food handling and safety knowledge.

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Food handling and safety certification.
  • Experience with organic food/natural products preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • This position is field based.
  • Expected to wear clothing appropriate for the nature of the Company’s business and the type of work performed.
  • Position requires long periods of standing and driving.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs., 10-12 times per shift.
  • This position requires a flexible work schedule including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays.
