Immediate Hire for Security Guards
Position Overview
As a security officer for our company, you will be responsible for the safety and security of the assets of our customers.
A security officer's duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Security guards to keep clients and visitors aware of all organizational policies and to maintain proper order in building access control procedures.
- The security officer is responsible for all visitor screening, methods of de-escalation, situational awareness and importantly enforcing visitor policies.
- Guarding valuables in an assigned area.
- Responding to alarms and emergencies.
- Security guards is to communicte any irregularities with on-site management.
- Security guard to document any incidents. Maintain security log record book and operational guideline procedures.
- Following procedures for emergency situations.
- Checking visitors in and out of an area.
- Escorting visitors around the premises.
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish security presence.
- Monitor and authorize entrance of persons into a property.
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations.
- Monitor surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful acts.
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
To apply for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Must have valid security guard licenses and/or certifications based on state and local requirements in the area where the position is located.
- Must have knowledge of legal guidelines for security and public safety in the area where the position is located.
- Must be Fluent in speaking Spanish and English
- Fireguard Certification a PLUS.
- 1 year of Customer service, administrative, communications, and security guard work
- Must have excellent customer service skills and problem solving skills.

Pay: From $17-19 per hour based on applicable experience.
