What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk (Evening) position at URBN?
Candidate should be a motivated team player with a positive attitude and possess good organizational and communication skills. Individual should be able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail, and willing to accept new and diverse assignments. Candidate must be able to work with all organizational levels including fellow-employees, customers and management.
Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday 5:00pm - 3:30am
- Assist Leads/Leadership team with day-to-day functions in assigned department
- Monitor productivity and communicate/discuss adjustments in assigned department
- Priorities
o SLA compliance
o Clear communication across multiple levels in the URBN organization
- Maintain a positive attitude and flexibility in completing special projects and/or changing business priorities
- Research department specific questions from other areas of the company, including Contact Center, Home Office, and the Brands
- Abide by and enforce SLA compliance in designated department
- Maintain high level, proactive communication utilizing radios and emails
- Perform department specific tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- All other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:
- High school degree or GED required
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to work continuously on a computer
- Problem solving and reporting skills
- Strong computer skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to manipulate a keyboard for extended periods of time
- Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
- Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 55 pounds
- Operate warehouse equipment as required for position (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements.
