Position Overview
This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job. Supervisors may assign additional responsibilities and the responsibilities may change as the needs of the business change.
Responsibilities:
1. Organize walk in and put deliveries away and date all food products.
2. Assist the kitchen with daily prep.
3. Setup the expediter’s station.
4. Help make roll ups for kitchen utensils.
5. Fill to-go supplies in the kitchen and pack to go order for customers.
6. Hot items (i.e. egg dishes, pizza, soups, etc…) must be taken out immediately.
7. Check food for quality and presentation before serving to guest.
8. Greet guests in a professional manner, deliver food, ask for additional food requests and always Thank the guest and ask them to “enjoy their meal”.
9. Serve food to guest using a napkin to hold plates, making sure order is complete, ask guest if waiting for additional items and if not, pick up the number.
10. Deliver utensils, napkins, condiments and side items as needed.
11. Pre-bus tables (Full hands in, full hands out)
12. Help guests with water refills on return trips only.
13. Bring cakes and pies to the kitchen as needed.
14. Make sure that the guest gets everything they have asked for, like extra dressing, extra plates, etc. Ask for guest satisfaction.
15. Inform the Manager immediately about any problems with outside food, outside drinks and smoking.
16. Inform Manager about additional food requests.
General and Safety:
1. Use safety belt and safety shoes at all times.
2. Use hand truck to move or lift anything over 15 lbs.
3. Must perform physical activities in a variety of environmental conditions that require moderate strength including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking and handling of materials. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
4. The position requires lifting of 25 lbs. anything over 25 lbs. assistance will be given to you.
5. Watch for wet floors and spillage, put signs and dry immediately.
6. Be aware of changing weather conditions to close umbrellas on windy days, floor mats in rainy days, etc.
7. Make sure dogs are away from stairs or entrances.
8. While carrying trays or bus tubs, be aware of employees and guests to prevent accidents.
9. CLEAN AS YOU GO! Watch for food, debris and objects on the floor.
10. The position requires the employee to be able to communicate in English, to be friendly and courteous.

Physical Requirements:
- The ability to lift 25/pounds regularly & un-assisted
- The ability to respond quickly to sounds
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spa ces
- The ability to safely climb ladders
- The ability to work in cold temperatures
- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
- The ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, stooping, balancing, reaching, pushing
Closing PM:
1. Put away tables and chairs, sweep outside patio.
2. Clean, refill and restock expediters station.
3. Check with manager every day and throughout your shift for ANY additional duties needed for your
shift. “These duties could change on any day”.
Pay Range: (Pay ranges applicable to CA locations only)
- Hourly
- $17.00 Minimum - $18.00 Maximum
