We are looking for an Occupancy Planner to join our Consulting practice in San Francisco, CA. This role will help the team to successfully manage the supply, capacity and demand of a building, campus or a regional portfolio of space for a specific client at the business unit level.  

What this job involves:

• Provide a single point of contact for geography-related planning questions;
• Report the bottoms-up seat count projections by business unit;
• Track and report projected versus actual seat counts;
• Provide geographic stacking diagrams by location, by building and by floor;
• Report the current supply and capacity, and forecasts inventory changes for a rolling three-year timeframe;
• Maintain and secure business units’ agreement to geographic stacking plans;
• Develop preliminary program requirements for each department (by building, if necessary);
• Develop migration plans and sequencing of group-level moves / relocations;
• Develop, maintains and reports space allocation plans, and if applicable, issues space allocation reports;
• Participate in Audits (including seat assignments, occupancy, vacancy, labs & equipment).  Present Audit Data to Senior OP & Leadership.
• Management responsibilities:
  • Compile Quarterly Report Data
  • Field Verify Occupancy Planning Data
  • Provides performance review input for planning assistants and CAD administrators

Interested? This is what we are looking for in a candidate:

• 3-5 years of project-related experience in a Corporate Real Estate environment. 
• Strong understanding of occupancy planning, facilities, operations, design, construction and technology. 
• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction, Design or related field is required.
• Good understanding of CAFM and IWMS systems 
• Excellent MS office skills: Excel, Power Point, Access, Word
