Job Posting for Barista (Coffee Shop Attendant) NA-04 at US Army Installation Management Command
Duties
Operates a small full-service coffee shop, preparing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks.
Operates coffee shop machinery to include commercial espresso machine, etc.
Records sales, takes customer payments for goods by operating a cash register, balances cash drawer at the end of the day.
Cross trains other staff members on full service of the coffee shop.
Conducts monthly inventory.
Requirements

Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with Army Regulation 215-3.
This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
An employer referred pre-employment physical examination is required.
Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities.
Work schedule may be irregular. The incumbent may be required to work, nights, weekends, holidays and/or special events.
Must be physically able to stand for prolong periods of time.
Qualifications
All candidates MUST meet the following minimum qualifications:
ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds, AND
possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory, AND
possess skills in mixing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks, AND
work experience utilizing a commercial espresso machine, AND
ability to cross train and monitor the work of other staff.

The AREA OF CONSIDERATION for this vacancy announcement is U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation and reside within the Local Commuting Area (defined as 100-mile radius) of Fort Drum, NY.
Spouse Employment Preference (SEP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) are included in this area of consideration.

FWS Allowances and Differentials
This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will NOT be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will NOT be paid.
