Maintenance Worker NA-07

Duties

• Works alone or in a group performing a variety of tasks involving the maintenance and repair of recreational grounds, buildings and structures, and appurtenant fixtures.
• Duties require the use of trade practices associated with carpentry and painting as well as work involving motor vehicle operations, electrical and plumbing.
• Assignments include the performance of work with a high level of difficulty and responsibility.
• May be required to drive vehicles up to and including a 5-ton truck to move furniture, etc., to various buildings on the installation.
• Perform heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more.

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3. Incumbent is required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation.
• A health assessment is required.
• Possession of a valid driver's license to operate assigned government vehicles. The employee must maintain a current driver's license while in this job.
