Duties

At the full performance level, the primary duties of this position are:

  • Designated as the Regional Uniform Coordinator and is responsible for uniform purchasing through a Reclamation approved uniform program.
  • Ensures accountable property records comply with Government requirements, and that the receiving, recording, moving, and disposal of Government property is performed in accordance with property regulations and policies.
  • Monitors vehicle reservation system and ensures requests are accommodated. Assists in development and improvement of reservation system.
  • Responsible for fleet charge card reallocations. Prints charge card statements each month, reconciles the associated fleet charge, and obtain necessary accounting string and supervisor approvals.
  • Assists higher-graded specialist with managing, scheduling, and tracking vehicle utilization and the maintenance program.

You must maintain a valid State Driver's License at all times as the position requires operation of government vehicles on government and public roads. Failure to maintain a valid State Driver's License at all times will result in removal from the position.

A physical exam may not be required if a comparable agency approved examination was performed within the last 12 months. The cost of the exam will be reimbursed by the agency.

Qualifications

GS-06: In order to qualify at the GS-06 grade level, your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent in complexity and difficulty to at least the GS-05 level in Federal service.

Specialized Experience at GS-06: Experience using blanket purchase agreements, government purchase card, or vendor contracts.

GS-07: In order to qualify at the GS-07 grade level, your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent in complexity and difficulty to at least the GS-06 level in Federal service.

Specialized Experience at GS-07: Experience reconciling property inventories and using blanket purchase agreements, government purchase card, or vendor contracts.

Probationary Period: You may be required to serve an initial probationary period. Current, permanent Federal employees who are selected from this announcement may be required to serve a probationary period.

Current Reclamation policy requires employees to report to the official duty station 2 days every pay-period (2 weeks). Full time telework or remote work is not available for this position.
