TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Duties

• Determines level of assurance of developed capabilities based on test results.
• Reviews and validates test plans to address specifications and requirements.
• Reviews and validates scope, infrastructure, resources, and data sample size to ensure system requirements are adequately demonstrated.
• Complying with computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
• Planning risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
• Complying with laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cyber security and DISN systems and capabilities.
• Developing Cybersecurity and privacy principals as it relates to DISN operations, and Cyber threats and vulnerabilities..
