What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Assistant position at US Enhanced?
We are currently hiring a Human Resources Assistant to support the Human Resources Manager in all aspects of HR including, but not limeited to, the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the following areas: employee relations, training, temporary employee management, recruitment, and interviewing.
This position will be a long term contract working 36 hours weekly:
Monday-Thursday 8a-5p and Fridays 8a-12p
- Answers routine inquiries from inside and outside the company on HR-related matters in line with written company policy.
- Requisitions temporary personnel from staffing agencies as needed.
- Verifies agency employees’ time and forwards information to agencies.
- Greets new employees, provides them with personal protective equipment, and escorts them to assigned supervisor or department when on shift.
- Updates ADP Workforcenow for hourly employee changes.
- Maintains employment resumes, application forms, etc. in line with company policy.
- Maintains employee personnel files and training records in line with company policies and government regulations.
- Retains records in line with company record retention requirements.
- Coordinates interviews and phone screen.
- Utilizes iCIMS.
- Schedules flights, rental cars and hotel reservations as requested.
- Maintains communication bulletin boards.
- Provides assistance to EHS and other functional groups as required.
- Other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
- Human Resources experience, strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret information, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables and implement solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) is a must

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
