What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse - ASC position at US Eye?
Santa Fe Surgery Center is a US Eye company that provides best-in-class technologies, amenities, and comfort. Centrally located to serve The Villages, Lady Lake, and the surrounding areas, our ultra-modern 7000sqft center offers a spacious waiting area and two surgical suites equipped for procedures requiring general anesthesia and an array of outpatient surgeries. We also feature a procedure room with the renowned CATALYS® Precision Laser System, the latest phacoemulsification systems for state-of-the-art cataract treatment, and a full line of Johnson & Johnson intraocular lenses. We offer mini and full-size C-Arm mobile imaging units for advanced computer-assisted fluoroscopic imaging for superior guidance before and during surgical and orthopedic procedures. Our prep/recovery rooms provide privacy and relaxation pre- and post-procedure.
Essential Job Functions:
Pre-operative, intra-operative, and PACU care of patients with ophthalmic, oculoplastics, and pain management.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while providing exceptional patient care and creating a phenomenal patient environment.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment with patients, physicians, and staff
Excellent customer service skills are a must!
Education and Experience:
Recent surgical/operating room experience in an ASC (preferred).
Ophthalmic experience is preferred but not required.
