USIG has been an authorized flooring provider for the nation's largest home improvement retailer for over thirty years. Based upon continued success and growth across the continental U.S. USIG is looking for an Area Manager to manage the following regions: Delaware & Pennsylvania.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Relationship development with the Home Depot management team including regular store visits
Management of GM’s and locations within the Region; including all installation and service of flooring.
Manages the development and implementation of branch operations strategies to ensure target levels of production
Manages the process, reporting, and resolution of escalated issues to ensure customer satisfaction in accordance with regional performance standards.
Manage regional target levels of production for service of installs.
Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment with many structured touch points.
Must display a sense of urgency to address & satisfy customer issues
Problem solver/Quality Driven Manager that can present new ideas to improve level of service to customers and implement new business strategies
Manage staffing levels at Branch locations within the region based on volume demands
Ensure the commercial and residential installation and service scheduling is operating at an optimal level reducing backlog
Provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction based on the performance of branch operations.
6 years of District/Regional mgmt. exp required in a “Big Box” Retail environment, home improvement environment or Floor Covering company highly preferred.
Flooring industry management/Operations experience highly preferred
Knowledge of multiple flooring surfaces is a major plus.
Must be open to regional travel.
Must possess strong time management skills/organizational skills.
Impeccable follow up skills a MUST.
Supervise; General Managers, residential installers, Quality Service Managers, District Service Managers, and office personnel
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
