Procurement Business Analyst
Key Purpose
The Procurement Business Analyst will perform data management for procurement activities to strengthen the ability to build category management plans, execute projects, and realize the benefits of savings programs. The core tasks of this position will focus on daily conditioning and normalization of spend data from a variety of sources, calculation of vendor rebates and allowances, and production of Key Performance Indicators such as spend compliance.
The Procurement Business Analyst will possess a high attention to detail as well as the ability to perform structured and unstructured data analysis. Strong communication skills are needed as routine interaction with vendors and senior ISS managers is anticipated.

Ideal Candidate Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in data science, statistics, mathematics, information technology, business intelligence, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years related professional work experience
- Relevant professional certifications may be substituted for education or work experience
Key Accountabilities
- Spend analysis from a variety of data sources to produce actionable information
- Assist Procurement Department to drive spend compliance through transparency in reporting
- Management of savings programs by improving the data integrity of cost center expenditures
- Upstream education of the business, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial teams regarding supplier compliance identifying opportunities for commercial benefits through supply chain
- Support periodic briefings to Finance Directors (FD’s), CFO, and Operations managers on financial projections/accruals, compliance, and various KPIs
- Perform ERP data conditioning, Sievo spend analysis, and spend categorization clean up
- Maintain integrity of SIEVO spend analysis platform by reducing undefined spend, maintaining configuration/integration with other systems, applying business rules for ingestion of data, and communication with Sievo support team
- Create, manage, and reconcile rebate calculations with vendor reported spend and rebate estimates
- Maintain Preferred Vendor List and assist communication with buyers in the field
- Proactively manage vendor agreements (contracts) to ensure currency, accuracy, and adherence to terms for vendors where rebate or other vendor benefits exist
- Participate in ad hoc vendor meetings to ensure understanding of agreements by both parties
- Support Procurement PMO in managing outreach and communication for supplier assurance, portal registration, and tracking via online platform and calls
- Reconciling Procurement spend with supplier invoices and owning the relationship
- Perform routine and ad hoc project analysis of Procurement supply chain spend data to identify improvement in respect of compliance, commercial opportunities, supplier performance, and business engagement for current year execution and future year project and category planning
- Provide monthly and ad hoc presentations to senior managers
- Conducting training events on data systems and tools such as Sievo, e-Procurement system, risk portal, and MS Excel
- Participating in as well as leading supply chain process and systems improvements
