How You Will Spend Your Days as a Truss Designer:
- Create component designs for shop fabrication based on information gathered from customers and project documents.
- Create detailed Placement Plans for field installation of components.
- Partner with your internal and external customers to ensure accuracy on estimates.
- Maintain job related files, including project status' and electronic filing.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures of all assigned duties
- Create and update component designs for prefabrication shop and field installation

Truss Designer Requirements:
- You have some college education in architectural drafting or estimating preferred or equivalent in experience.
- Experience in truss design, layout, working with 3D applications, takeoff, quoting and/or sales is helpful.
- Excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills; you’re a team player.
- Ability to maintain and enhance positive customer relations.
- Organized, detail oriented, and good math skills.
- Experience using MS Office products and can quickly pick up proprietary software.

Salary : $43,600 - $55,200
