Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technology Assistant to join our team. As a Technology Assistant, you will provide technical support and assist with the management of our IT infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Manage user accounts and access permissions in Active Directory
- Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely resolution to technical issues
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and software applications
- Monitor and maintain network connectivity, including TCP/IP configuration and DNS management
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement system upgrades and improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience in a technical support role or similar position
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components and concepts
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems (e.g., Remedy, ServiceNow)
- Experience with Active Directory administration
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications
