About The Opportunity ORBIS Corporation, a subsidiary of Menasha Corporation is offering challenging and exciting career opportunities for a Quality Inspector working Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 11pm OR you can choose the schedule of Monday - Friday, 10am - 7pm. This is not a rotating schedule. Either option is available, and overtime will be offered based on the business needs. We are seeking qualified candidates that are focused on quality and safety. The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspection and audits of products to ensure alignment with quality standards. Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure customer satisfaction. Qualified candidates must be able to perform all duties listed below safely and follow all company safety procedures. specifications. Key Duties And Responsibilities Support plant personnel on daily quality concerns and issue and communicate quality alerts, as needed Audit finished good and report findings to production and quality personnel Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed) Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities Contribute to a team effort Maintain a safe and clean work space Train and certify on all jobs in the department Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner Ability to STOP-THINK-ACT and work safely Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business Ability to work on a rotating shift Ability to work rotating job stations Ability to effectively work in teams Ability to professionally accept constructive feedback and criticism Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles Ability to use and influence organizational policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing practices Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Education Desired High School Diploma or Equivalent Two companies, one vision.
