Natural Gas Technician Assistant
Job Posting for Natural Gas Technician Assistant at US Valve Services & Training, Inc.
90% travel in the US only
Be able to bend, stoop, sit, drive, walk for extended period of time. be able to lift 90 pounds. Be able to be away from home for 2-3 weeks at a time. Must have a clean driving record - NO infractions. Must be able to pass homeland security background check. (no felonies)
Responsibilities
- Assist Natural Gas Technicians in performing maintenance and repairs on gas equipment and systems.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair gas-related equipment.
- Support in the installation and maintenance of valves and actuators and the controls
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed to assist with equipment repairs and installations.
- Apply basic math skills to accurately measure and calculate materials for projects.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- valve and actuator: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- English (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License with no infractions (Required)
Willingness to travel:
- 100% (Required)
