Position Summary: The Associate Director Finance is a visible role providing support to Operations and Finance leaders. This position requires an ability to be adaptable to fast changing business/operational conditions, while providing timely and accurate analytics and reporting to Finance and Operations management. Strong cross-functional collaboration, ability to influence across the organization as well as possession of outstanding analytical skills are required. Responsibilities: Lead the Global Analytics team in Global Operations finance with a focus on Gross Margin, Inventory, OpEx & CapEx consolidation, including financial planning, financial analysis and ad hoc projects Serve as a financial business partner for Global Operations business, building key relationships and supporting the achievement of functional priorities and key objectives Provide leadership to enable prudent decision-making by collaborating with SMEs across several functions to evaluate the financial implications of strategic choices and build thorough business cases Leverage data driven insights to drive business decisions that optimize gross margin, inventory, OpEx, and CapEx Lead the development of long-range strategic plan and annual operating plans for Gross Margins Provide deep insight into build plan, absorption, inventory turns, and variances with a view to help the management understand their impact on overall performance Lead what-if scenarios to find the right balance between inventory turns, gross margin, and order fulfillment time Examine financial data to ensure accuracy and for compliance with policy and procedures Analyze, synthesize and translate data into key strategic inputs and insights that will drive strategic decision making at the executive level Monitor adherence to approved budget Assist the operating groups in preparing forecasts and budgets and identifying the underlying reasons for variances from those financial plans Work with business SMEs to monitor ongoing Global Operations costs and help identify opportunities for improving margins Maximize long-term shareholder value while protecting corporate assets Hire, develop, and retain top talent Listed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, may require an advanced degree (Master’s), in applicable field or equivalent. Typically has 7 years of applicable Management experience Overall knowledge of most areas within Corporate sub-function or a function within an operation Typically has depth of technical knowledge in function derived from experience in non-management and middle management roles. Thorough understanding of drivers that influence Gross Margin Demonstrated ability to communicate and present clear and concise information from complex analyses to the executive leadership team Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills and ability to establish strong rapport and partnerships at all levels of the organization Self-directed and able to work well and communicate effectively in a team environment. Hands on and able to work with minimal supervision Clear leadership and development potential Exceptional commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines Advanced expertise in TM1, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are a plus Strong attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills Highly motivated with positive attitude and strong work ethic Strong understanding of corporate financing principles; NPV, budgeting processes, forecasting, financial modelling, etc. Good understanding of GAAP and SEC rules and their application Proven ability to evaluate and solve complex problems and the strategic implications of different business approaches All listed requirements are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilities. #LI-HYBRID Concerns regarding COVID-19 continue as positive cases are experienced in the communities in which we operate.
