Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: Join Our Team as a Machine Operator! The Packaging Machine Operator will ensure proper setup and maintenance of machinery. Address malfunctions and troubleshoot as needed to minimize downtime for the manufacturing lines. In this role, you will: Operate packaging equipment, ensuring that it is set up and maintained properly. Perform changeovers on all equipment, following established procedures and protocols. Troubleshoot and repair any equipment malfunctions or failures, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and skills. Identify and correct quality problems, working with teams as needed to ensure that products meet or exceed established quality standards. Maintain an accurate inventory of all supplies and parts assigned ordering replacements as needed. Assist with completion of improvement projects, as well as equipment installations, working with the engineering team as needed. Follow all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring that all equipment is operated in a safe and responsible manner. Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with established procedures. Attend all required training sessions, staying up-to-date on new equipment and technologies #LI-Onsite What we look for: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred. Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment (highly preferred). Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with equipment. Knowledge of packaging equipment and processes, as well as quality control principles. Able to work effectively with vendors, suppliers, and team members. Passionate toward ownership of work & safety awareness Root cause, problem solving skills are highly preferred Must be able to work in a team environment – strong communication skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong attention to detail, able to follow established procedures and protocols. Starting Hourly rate: $23.00 with a shift differential for overnight hours.
