The unit was formed on June 1, 2019 by merging the two entities Supply Chain Development and Global Manufacturing. About the Role The Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America team is currently searching for an Assistant Controller for our manufacturing facility in Harrodsburg, KY. This person will coordinate and prepare monthly closing for the plant. They will also follow up projects (i.e. investments and maintains and reports cost accounting information) as well as provide and report general ad hoc financial information. What You Will Do Period Closing and Reporting; Assist in monthly closing duties including verification and validation of select balance sheet items (stock, assets, materials, machine clothing, etc.) and initiate corrective actions postings; Oversee and review entries made by Shared Services (GBS); Assist in execution of AP/TP process; Support financial reporting; Annual Budget Process; Assist in data collection and analysis; Assist in timely budget load and reporting; Support yearly target setting process; Product Costing and Analysis; Set up and maintenance of production SKUs; Ensure timely updates of material costing, including SKU changes, quarterly costing runs and material price updates; Assist in providing monthly and quarterly costing analysis; Provide GAP Analysis; Support initiation and maintenance of capital projects; Project cost tracking; Assist with Capital forecasting. Who You Are Degree in Finance and/or Accounting required; Minimum of two (2) years of relevant finance and/or accounting experience; Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred; SAP or large ERP system strongly preferred.
