Your role at Clorox: Seasoned Leader with a track record of success in a manufacturing environment including driving culture change, developing people, safety performance, managing change, continuous improvement, leading/coaching a high-performance organization. This Clorox Plant is located in Rogers, AR. The plant operates 24/7 and is made up of a team of approximately 700 hourly technicians and 40 salaried leaders. The site produces our GLAD family of products including trash bag and food covering goods. In this role, you will: This role leads and owns all functions of Manufacturing including: Make, Pack, and Ship of 125 SKUs. Budgetary responsibility of ~$75M. Coach and develop others with an emphasis on career growth and execution of Operations Excellence. This Leader is accountable for implementation of Operations Excellence practices including: Operations Alignment, 5S, Operator Based Maintenance, Teamwork, Visual Management, Rapid Change-Over, and Focused Improvement. This role will also sit on the Site Steering Committee to execute Leading and Managing Change practices and offer steering and coaching for EH&S, Quality, Human Capital, and Asset Care. This role is accountable for the growth of Implementation Task Forces in all manufacturing departments and for the execution of practices in these areas. Represent the site as a Manufacturing voice for Business Unit functions outside of the plant. Coordinate communications within the plant with regular site communication meetings as well as PDCA style reviews for Team/Department/Site. Manage the site X-Matrix, scorecard, and gap analysis for the site. What we look for: 5-8 years experience in Manufacturing (preferably with a Consumer Packaging Company) Bachelors degree required, continued education with an MBA preferred. Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager with total site responsibilities or equivalent. Very strong leadership traits with substantial experience leading in a high performing work structure. Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, communication and teambuilding skills Demonstrated ability to understand manufacturing, business processes and systems. Demonstrated capabilities to effectively drive moral/engagement efforts as well as plan and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
