Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: Provide Logistics operations expertise in supporting plant and corporate objectives, in order to deliver on-time shipments of GLAD products. Utilize industry best practices to the site with a focus on safety, efficiencies, and loss reduction. This role will have direct responsibility for Operations including material management, palletizing, and distribution. In this role, you will: Key Responsibilities Provide consistent and timely leadership to highlight Safety as the most important piece of the operation as well as delivering all related programs and initiatives. Utilize best practices to lower operational costs. Act as a change agent to implement continuous improvement practices. Improve service by increasing on time deliveries levels, lowering overage, shortage, and damage levels. Provide Leadership for all DC employees in the form of coaching and development World Class Manufacturing and Distribution Leadership: Successfully leverage Continuous Improvement methodologies and processes to identify and drive improvements and loss reductions. Continue to drive Rogers to be Supplier of Choice, maintaining Dwell Times and enhanced Driver interactions and experience while at the site Own Plant Distribution Inventory Metrics while ensuring internal controls compliance Manage yard and shuttle contractor lane and relationship between site operations and DC Provide leadership for Plant Scheduling to include Weekly Scheduling Review, Forecasting, Schedule Attainment, and Capacity Planning as well as relationship with corporate planning and logistics groups Activities: Develops strategic departmental plans toward efficient, cost effective operations. Monitors Key Performance Indicators to understand service and efficiency trends. Documents and communicates results effectively. Analyze cost performance data to pinpoint areas of opportunity and to validate effectiveness. Participate in cross functional work teams within Clorox to eliminate root causes of customer supply chain inefficiency. Develops and executes against balanced plan of interaction with plant operations and distribution activities. Maintain partnership with Security pertaining to yardview and incoming/outbound trailer inspections What we look for: Key Skills, Abilities, Experience and Education Required Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution 5 years of manufacturing experience 3 years of people leadership experience 2 years of experience with Logistics - Warehouse, Production Scheduling, Procurement and Transportation 2 years of experience with production/inventory control systems/warehouse management systems (SAP) Position will require the candidate to be in manufacturing environment with rotating equipment, elevated surfaces, temperature variations etc. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, engineering, procurement. 7 years of manufacturing experience 5 years of people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment 5 years of experience with Logistics - Warehouse, Production Scheduling, Procurement and Transportation Ability to act as a logistics operations subject matter expert Experience as a strategic leader with a medium to large organization (building capability, executing cost savings, and supporting growth) Strong business process, leadership skills, assertive and diplomatic, self-directing, willing to hold others accountable Workplace type: Onsite We seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
